What makes the two branches equal
-
Same level, same pay band
PM1 and SPL1 sit in the same band, and so do C2 and SPC2.
-
Each branch, its own criteria
Moving up as a specialist does not require managing people, and moving up in management does not require being the top technical expert.
-
Change branch without stepping down
You move from one branch to the other at the same level and sub-level, in both directions.
-
What they share
Both branches train juniors and explain their work to the client.
A culture that looks after its people.
Closeness, continuous learning and improvement, commitment to results, and time to get to know each other outside the project.

Careers that grew here
Four colleagues describe how they moved up through the career plan (translated from Spanish).
-
I joined CYP as a project technician and kept taking on responsibility until, after two years, I had the chance to become a Project Manager. With the pandemic the company entered a new phase and the new positions that remain today appeared: I started there as a Manager and moved up to my current position as Senior Manager.
Career path: From Consultant to Senior Manager -
My first challenge was taking on responsibility at a plant going through a critical situation. The goal was clear: secure the parts and get them shipped to the end customer. That demanding environment was the starting point for developing key skills.
Career path: From Junior Analyst to Commercial Director -
I started out at CYP as a project engineer, working on key projects in the automotive sector. From the start I was involved in vehicle launches, process optimisation, layout design and KPI management, which let me develop key skills.
Career path: From Consultant to Senior Manager -
I started as a Project Engineer at CYP Core six years ago and now lead a team of five engineers as a Manager. I have always worked on logistics optimisation projects in one of the most important industrial settings in the country: the SEAT & CUPRA factory in Martorell.
Career path: From Consultant to Manager
