You do not win the aerospace sector from the sidelines. You have to step into the ecosystem.

In September 2026, CYP Core took part in the Catalan business mission to Toulouse with 15 other companies from the aeronautics, space and security sectors.

Promoted by ACCIÓ and AeroS Ecosystem, the visit brought us closer to Aerospace Valley, one of Europe’s main aerospace clusters, and to an industrial environment built over decades around companies, specialised SMEs, universities and technology centres.

For CYP Core, the interest goes well beyond getting to know a market. We want to put our engineering, automation, industrial logistics and simulation capabilities at the service of new value chains with especially demanding requirements.

We came away with three clear ideas:

  1. Industrial diversification calls for adapting capabilities, processes and standards; changing the sector label is not enough.
  2. Europe’s big opportunities are built through collaboration between companies, regions and complementary specialities.
  3. Catalonia has the industrial and technological knowledge to add value to the Toulouse–Barcelona axis.

The mission was also covered by Govern.cat, Crónica Global, La Razón and elEconomista, which highlighted the will to strengthen ties between Catalonia and Occitania and to open opportunities in European projects and value chains.

Thanks to ACCIÓ, AeroS, Aerospace Valley, the Departament d’Empresa i Treball and all the organisations and companies that made these days of learning and connection possible.

Now it is time to turn contacts into projects and capabilities into real opportunities.

  1. Update

A good follow-up to our part in the mission: Aerospace Valley featured this experience. Thank you for making connections between the industrial ecosystems of Catalonia and Occitania.

Now it is time to follow up on the contacts and turn complementary capabilities into concrete collaborations.
